2000 Marques De Moja Crianza

I expected this wine to work well accompanying the meaty sauce of a Hungarian Goulash but not over power it.

In these situations, when there are lots of people's tastes and many different types of palets to satisfy, I usually reach for a spanish red.

I drank it and initially thought I had made a superb choice. Then all of a sudden this taste came up and slapped me right up side the head. It was acidy. So much so that you couldn't enjoy the wine.

A good nose, good initial taste, but the finish was surprisingly acidy.

I would not recommend this wine.
