2001 Zinfandel Buchignani Ranch, Ridge Vineyards

What a wonderful way to start an evening of wine and food. This was the first of about 5 bottles opened and depleted during the night, and it remains the most memorable. Fantastic mouth-filling fruit and texture. This wine was a joy to drink with sourdough bread and brie.
