Not oaky or smoky, but a fairly enjoyable fruity wine -2005 Hope Estate Shiraz

When you first smell this wine, it has the delicious smell of raspberries and dark fruits.

Pouring over your tongue, it feels silky, but not overly heavy.. The taste has bright acid layered with a blend of dark fruits, yet they merge into a subtle fruit basket, not intense, and it’s hard to distinguish any isolated fruit flavors, as I did with the initial smell.

Not oaky or smoky, but a fairly enjoyable fruity wine.
