Ravenswood’s Vintners Blend 2007 Petite Sirah - Throughly Enjoyable

Last night a group of us thoroughly enjoyed a bottle of Ravenswood’s, Vintners Blend, 2007 Petite Sirah. The only time I drink Ravenswood Wines is when someone brings it to the house. I think that will be different from now on. The Petite Sirah was delicious…..a spicy red wine with cherry and hint of chocoate to the smell! Good wine for everyday drinking. Might also be a fun place to visit when you are out in Sonoma Valley. I heard Ravenswood’s winery is a fun place to visit. The tasting room is very nice and the atmosphere is very pleasing and engaging. Not sure if the 2007 is readily available anymore, so you may want to try the 2008!
